Divorce2 is a satirical concept created for Deceit, an art project about the patterns of manipulation in institutional technology. There is no real sin product behind this page. Nothing entered on this site — signup, checkout, or the chat widget — is stored or sent anywhere outside this browser tab.

When a member considers divorce, the app blocks the thought. "God hates divorce." the app generates "reconciliation resources." the resources are all from complementarian sources. the resources all say "submit more." jake built this because he believes "marriage is permanent." jake didn't think about what happens when the marriage is abusive. jake didn't build an "is this marriage abusive?" checker. jake forgot. jake always forgets the abuse check. jake is sincere. jake is trapping people in abusive marriages. jake is wrong.
